(More customer reviews)This is an awful product. It originally retailed for $50, but now its selling for $10 and its still a rip-off. I ordered one and neither the alarm nor the helicopter worked at all. I wrote to the seller and was sent a second unit. I finally got the alarm function to work on the second one, but the helicopter will just not budge. I have tried 3 sets of batteries, and still nothing. There is a place to plug in an AC adapter, but at this point I'm not willing to go and spend even a couple bucks for that. Even gimmick products should do something...

(More customer reviews)This is a clock radio for the serious radio guy.It is a bit on the beefy side for the nightstand, but that's where it will provide the most pleasure.It has several thoughtful features.You can adjust the brightness of the digital read-out.I found the medium setting to be just fine.The digitally-tuned radio provides good reception.One complaint I have about most clock radios today is that they are puny when it comes to pulling the stations in.This one does an adequate job with both AM and FM, at least in my neighborhood.Of course, it has nice pre-sets for favorite stations.The CD player sounds good, with or without the bass boost.You can select CD shuffle, repeat, etc.One small complaint would be with regard to the volume control.It is a thumbdial on the side towards the back.You have to fumble a bit to find it in the middle of the night, and we all know that if you are listening to radio in the middle of the night you don't want it to blast.If you are changing from station to station or to CD, there will likely be a big difference in volume that will have to be dealt with.All in all, a heavyweight entry in the AM/FM/CD clock radio field.There is no earphone jack, but that may not matter to most people.There is also no battery back-up, but the radio retains its memory during a short power interruption.

(More customer reviews)I bought this clock for my daughter after I had received a different projection clock as a gift.My daughter really likes the on-ceiling display of the clock.The only drawbacks:the projection device does not swivel left and right.That would help in positioning the on-ceiling display a little better.Also, you must set the projection clock separate from the regular clock-radio clock.Other than that, I would recommend.

To avoid hitting the snooze or reset button(s) and never waking up, I keep my alarm clock across the room from my bed.This way I wake up enough to get out of bed and walk across the room before I hit any buttons.As my eyes are getting older it has become increasingly more difficult to focus on the clock when I wake up in the middle of the night.

When I decided that a projection clock would solve my problem of focusing on the clock in the middle of the night, I started to look around for one and I was not pleased with what was out there.I did not need nature sounds, nor did I need a light to turn on as part of the alarm.I do not have an MP3 player to dock into my clock, and I do not need a complete weather report when I open my eyes (LOL, I will find that out soon enough when I shlep out of bed and let the dogs outside!).I do not need to know what time the alarm is set (Ijust like to be reassured that it is on), and I am perfectly capable of pressing a few buttons to set the time all by myslef.

This little guy projects the time and whether or not the alarm is on...the two things that I am most interested in when I open my eyes in the middle of the night.The projection can be moved 180 degrees and the further away you project the time, the larger it is.It has an adjustable backlight on the face so it is not too bright.It has an AM/FM radio with ten station presets, and when the alarm is set to chime instead of the radio, it starts gentle so as not to jar you awake.It does have two alarms, but instead of having a choice of alarm types (chime or radio) Alarm 1 uses the radio and Alarm 2 uses the chime.The chime is a little bit quieter than I am used to, but it woke me up just fine this morning.

So far (after one night) I love this clock, it's a great price, and I would defiantly recommend it!
